With specialization or core business in the publication industry, Alaf Semenanjung brings a range of magazines to the general public which includes Family Magazine, Pawana, Chef, Serambi, and its main publication, Perempuan Magazine.

The company which was incorporated in 1989 began with its first publication which is Perempuan magazine which hit the shelves of bookstores and magazine outlets throughout Malaysia in the same year. Perempuan magazine instantly became a hit with the women readers and boasts a monthly circulation of 60,000 copies per issue in its peak. Believing that knowledge is essential, Perempuan magazine seeks to bring balance between pure entertainment and information(s) that creates awareness and concerns relating to the daily lifestyles of its readers. Throughout 19 years in the industry, Perempuan magazine has had its share of good and bad times, but as the records have proven, Alaf Semenanjung as the owner of Perempuan magazine is proud to say that Perempuan magazine maintains as one of the top selling local Malay magazine in the market.
